Stoneleigh Methodist Church Centre

The Church Centre consists of a number of rooms suitable for use for meetings, children's parties etc. If you would like to view the premises, please email us to arrange a suitable time.

Probably the most important consideration is that no alcohol is to be consumed on the premises at any time - there are no exceptions to this rule of the Methodist Church. The premises are all on one level, all rooms are accessible by wheelchair and there is an accessible toilet. There are three other sets of toilets, an entrance area and a kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer and payphone.

There is limited parking on the forecourt but no restrictions on the road (although consideration for the residents and emergency services is requested). Stoneleigh Station (Waterloo-Epsom main line) is about 400 yards distant.

• Main Hall - 13m x 11.5m, seats about 180 theatre style, 100 with tables, wooden floor with a stage, and a direct hatch to the kitchen. We use this room for the more active children's parties, and must be booked if disco is involved.
• Link Room - Maximum 10.3m x 14.5m with a carpeted floor, piano and seats about 100. Serving 'bar' with direct access to kitchen. Audio loop system installed. This room is most suitable for younger children's parties.
• Room 1 - Small meeting room, carpeted floor, seats about 25 for meetings.
• New Room - Small ecumenical meeting room with piano, carpeted floor, seats about 18. Audio loop system installed.

The charges are currently £13.00 per hour for the Link Room or Hall, £4.00 per hour for Room 1 and £6.00 for the New Room (approved ecumenical meetings only). These charges apply to the total occupation time, ie including setting and clearing up.
